Entries Now Open for the 10th Annual
Friends of Quiet Waters Park Photo Contest
The 10th Friends of Quiet Waters Park annual photo contest is now open! We welcome April and the coming of spring! It’s a great time to take those special photos.
Entries must be taken in the park during all seasons featuring nature scenes, wildlife, park events, sculpture, water views and more. Submissions can be in color or b/w and must be jpg or tiff files. Submitted photos should have been taken during the last 3 years. There is a limit of 3 entries per person. Each photo must include a title and its location in the park.
Send entries to fqwpphotocontest@gmail.com. The deadline for submissions is Sept. 30, 2024. The entries will be judged by members of the FQWP Board and Fine Arts Committee. The winners will be announced by Oct. 31, 2024.
The winning photographs will be featured in the 2025 calendar and will be announced through various social media including the Friends’ website, Facebook and Newsletter. When you submit a photo and it is selected as a winner, you authorize us to publish your name and winning photo.
