In the Willow Gallery: Baltimore Watercolor Society
The Baltimore Watercolor Society, the oldest watercolor organization in Maryland, will hold an exhibit of work from its juried artists at the Willow Gallery at Quiet Waters Park from August 26 to October 12, 2015. While most of the Baltimore Watercolor Society artists use traditional watercolor paint and techniques, some BWS artists use other water media which can be almost as varied as the subject matter. Work will be exciting and engaging and spanning styles from portraits to abstraction.
In the Garden Gallery : Vincent Ferrari Photographs
Vincent Ferrari will present a photographic exhibition entitles, “Faces of Cuba,” in the Garden Gallery at Quiet Waters Park. This exhibit will feature visual scenes from the island nation, but will be comprised mostly of portraits of the people who live there.
Vincent has photographed in such diverse places as Italy, Iceland, the Caribbean, and in many of our nation’s national parks and cities. His images from Cuba stand to as some of the most striking and captivating of that body of work.
