Would you like to understand more about the sky? Learn how to point out constellations to your family and friends?
Join Glenn Bock of the Goddard Space Center and local astronomers for this on-going series of Star Parties at Quiet Waters Park to help you become more familiar with the ‘up there’ part of the universe we live in. No equipment or previous experience required, we’ll point out everything, and if it’s cloudy we’ll cover topics related to Astronomy and Sky Observing indoors. Meet at the Quiet Waters Park Blue Heron Center. Bring a flashlight if you can. Children must be accompanied by an adult or guardian.
Preregistration and a $5 fee per person (can be paid on the night of the event) is required. To preregister, e-mail Park Ranger Dave DeVault at firstname.lastname@example.org, or call 410-222-1777 (Star Party Flyer)
