Entries Now Open for the 11th Annual
Friends of Quiet Waters Park Photo Contest

We have a few changes on how we will conduct our photo contest. Most importantly, we will no longer be accepting photo entries by email. We believe our new process will be easy and efficient for you and us. The other change is we are accepting both standard size and wide-angle/panoramic images. Entries must be taken in the park during all seasons featuring nature scenes, wildlife, park events, sculpture, water views and more. Submissions can be in color or b/w. Submitted photos should have been taken during the last 3 years. There is a limit of 3 entries per person. To enter, please complete the form below.

The deadline for submissions is Sept. 30, 2025. The entries will be judged by members of the FQWP Board and Fine Arts Committee.  The winners will be announced by Oct. 31, 2025. 

The winning photographs will be featured in 2025 newsletters and on the website and will be announced through various social media including the Friends’ website, Facebook and Newsletter.  When you submit a photo and it is selected as a winner, you authorize us to publish your name and winning photo.  To view the winners from last year’s contest, check out the Friends’ website at https://fqwp.org/2024-photo-contest/

We are again looking forward to receiving your outstanding photographs of Quiet Waters Park, the “Jewel in the Crown” of Anne Arundel County!
