Invasive Species Clean Up

A small but mighty team helped remove invasives on a beautiful day in February! The crew of 8 volunteers removed wineberry, English ivy, privet and honey suckle. Come join us for the fun for our March events.

The weather has finally cleared and we are looking forward to a productive and fun spring removing invasive!  Join us for our March events at Quiet Waters, and enjoy the start of spring in the woods.   

Training, extra tools and gloves will be provided for all invasive removal events.  Please dress warmly!!

Upcoming March Invasive Removal Events

When: Wednesday, March 11th, 8:30 to 10:00.
Where: Meet at the Sycamore Pavilion
What:  We will be removing privet, English Ivy, honeysuckle and wineberry along the trail between the Sycamore and Sassafras Pavilions.

No sign up, just show up!

When: Saturday, March 28th, 9:30 to 11:30 am.
Where: Meet at the Blue Heron Parking lot at the top of the compost trail.
What:  We will be removing privet, English Ivy, honeysuckle and wineberry around the perimeter of the parking lot and continuing down the trail.
