The Gallery hours are 9 – 4 on weekdays and 10 – 4 on weekends. Quiet Waters Park charges a daily vehicle entry fee of $6.00 per car except for the Opening Reception.
Exhibition & Application Information
The Galleries at Quiet Waters Park welcome the interest of potential exhibitors. If you are an independent artist or represent a group of artists, please contact us at 600 Quiet Waters Park Road, Annapolis, Maryland, 21403 or e-mail arts@friendsofquietwaterspark.org
You may exhibit as an individual artist, or with a group, (2 to 9 artists who must apply individually), or, as part of an art organization (more than 10 artists). Note that Art Organizations are required to have an outside juror select the members’ work before exhibiting at the Galleries and must have the juror selected at time of application.
The rental fee is $200.00 for the Willow Gallery and $100.00 for the Garden Gallery. An average of 50 – 75 pieces of flatwork, depending upon size, can be displayed in the Willow Gallery. An average of 20 – 35 pieces of flatwork, depending upon size, can be displayed in the Garden Gallery.
A team of dedicated volunteers will help guide you through the process including contracts, installation, sales, and reception.
Please take note of a few of our standards and additional information :
- We welcome all forms of fine art media including but not limited to: painting, photography, sculpture, mixed media, printmaking.
- Subject matter of all artwork exhibited in the Galleries of Quiet Waters must be appropriate for the family nature of the Park.
- All work must be original, signed by the artist and have been completed within the three years prior to the exhibition.
- Two-dimensional work must be securely and suitably framed
- Sculptures and other three-dimensional work must rest in a stable and balanced position to prevent falling or tipping and may not have sharp edges, protruding arms or insecure or unsafe features.
- Three folding bins are available for display of a limited number of matted, unframed, signed artwork
