The Fairy House Festival opened its mist-i-cal doors on Saturday with great success! Waves of folks, including families with fairies in tow, braved the cold and mist to be welcomed with a candlelit reception, replete with cookies, lemonade, wildflower bouquets, and fairy lights and wands. Then on to the Fairy House Trail (aka Holly Pavilion Trail) to find tucked away throughout its length scores of whimsical Fairy Houses, each a tribute to the creativity of its Fairy architects and builders. They are a joy to behold and, even more, to see each child behold! Be sure to come visit the Park and see them before they magically disappear at the end of May!
This event was made possible in large part due to the Friends of Quiet Waters Park and the wonderful members who support us.
