Willow Gallery: Jack Turner
Garden Gallery: Georgia Rounds
“Indigenous,” by Jack Wildlife (aka Jack Turner) highlights the fascinating local wildlife that inhabit Quiet Waters Park and the Chesapeake Bay. Animals large and small, feathered and fluffy, lead complex lives’ right in our own communities. Jack captures the big (and tiny) moments that can go unnoticed in our daily lives, bringing environmental stewardship to the forefront of the conversation. Jack is an Environmental Scientist and lives in Annapolis. Two and three dimensional artworks are the part of Georgia’s portfolio that will be on display in the Garden Gallery in “Dreams and Visions.” She explores the intersection of light and color in her abstract and realistic oil and acrylic paintings. However, with ceramics, she prefers the muted tonal quality seen in her gas-fired pieces.
The Galleries of Quiet Waters Park is in the Visitor Center. The hours are 9 – 4 weekdays and 10 – 4 on weekends.
